    Dean A. Dabney

    Dean Dabney is an Associate Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at Georgia State University. He also holds faculty associate status with the Partnership of Urban Health Initiative at Georgia State University and the Emory Center for Injury Control. Since 2007, he has served as the editor of the Criminal Justice Review and International Criminal Justice Review. His scholarly interests include the organizational culture within law enforcement agencies, forms of deviance and/or criminal behaviors that occur in organizational settings, and qualitative research methods. He has published 2 books and several dozen articles appearing in such outlets as Criminal Justice & Behavior, International Journal of Offender Therapy & Comparative Criminology, Journal of Drug Issues and Justice Quarterly, and the Prison Journal.
