    Laurel A. Vietzen

    Professor Laurel A. Vietzen has been coordinator of the ABA-approved paralegal program at Elgin Community College since it began in 1989. She received her BA in Journalism from Purdue University and her JD from the Chicago-Kent College of Law.

    Prior to starting her current position at Elgin Community College, Professor Vietzen practiced transactional law with the Chicago firm of Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal and the suburban firm Bean & Spencer and taught Lawyering Skills at John Marshall Law School in Chicago. She is coordinator of the Contributor to Planning & Environmental Law journal, monthly since 1985.
