Hear What Other Professors Have to Say About the Text:

Judge Paul Schmidt, Georgetown Law, former Chair of the Board of Immigration Appeals:

"I really loved using your book — particularly the “practical exercises” and “examples.” Much better way to teach Immigration than just rattling off cases and statute numbers (although I always caution students to read the statute and the regs). Each chapter was more or less ‘independent’ to give maximum flexibility to professors… [O]ne of the few law books they [students] might want to keep for future reference."

    Michele Pistone, Villanova Law:

“Student feedback has been extremely positive… [They] like that the text is practical and designed for students interested in practicing immigration law… The tables, figures, boxes, and graphics supplement the text and organize topics in ways that are accessible and useful.”

I particularly appreciate the boxes at the start of each chapter with key terms, acronyms and learning objectives. [T]his book also includes useful background on immigration court practice, office practice, and professionalism.”
