    Wesley G. Jennings

    Wesley G. Jennings, PhD, is an Associate Professor and Associate Chair in the College of Behavioral and Community Sciences in the Department of Criminology and has a Courtesy Appointment in the Department of Mental Health Law and Policy at the University of South Florida. In addition, he also has Courtesy Appointments in both the Department of Health Outcomes & Policy and the Institute for Child Health Policy in the College of Medicine at the University of Florida. He received his doctorate degree in criminology from the University of Florida. He has over 175 publications, his h-index is 24 (i-index of 51), and he has over 1,850 citations to his published work. He was recently recognized as the #1 criminologist in the world (at his previous rank of Assistant Professor: Copes et al., JCJE, 2013) and the #3 criminologist in the world across all ranks in terms of his peer-reviewed scholarly publication productivity in the top criminology and criminal justice journals (Cohn & Farrington, JCJE, in press). He is also the author (with David Farrington & Alex Piquero)of a recently published, academic press book with Springer, Offending from Childhood to Late Middle Age: Recent results from the Cambridge Study in Delinquent Development, and is the author (with Jennifer Reingle) of a recently published textbook with Wolters Kluwer, Criminological and Criminal Justice Research Methods. His major research interests include longitudinal data analysis, police body-worn cameras, sex offending, gender, race/ethnicity, the victim-offender overlap, and early childhood prevention. In addition, he is a member of the American Society of Criminology, a Lifetime Member of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences, and a member of both the Midwestern and the Southern Criminal Justice Associations.

    Jennifer M. Reingle Gonzalez

    Jennifer M. Reingle Gonzalez, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Epidemiology, Human Genetics, and Environmental Sciences in the School of Public Health at the University of Texas Health Science Center. In 2011, she became the first-ever graduate of the University of Florida’s doctorate in epidemiology program. Since then, she has published or co-published several peer-reviewed articles and encyclopedia book chapters. She has also served as a guest lecturer at the University of Florida and a contributor/presenter on numerous national conference presentations. She is the co-author (with Wesley G. Jennings) of a recently published textbook with Wolters Kluwer, Criminological and Criminal Justice Research Methods. She is also a member of multiple professional organizations, including the National Hispanic Science Network, the Southern Criminal Justice Association, and the Society for Prevention Research.
